This is the most beautiful building filled with memories. It is perfectly located in Spring St to give you easy access to every part of the city and access to trains and trams beyond. We actually ended up staying for three nights. In a Deluxe King street view room, we had plenty of space to spread ourselves around. This Hotel doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the flashy high rises have, but if you are looking for a stately, elegant, quite and comfortable place to stay, you won’t be disappointed. Best of all, the staff were simply divine. Everyone treated us like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. And the best breakfast ever. Staying at the Hotel Windsor made us both feel very special and very privileged. Definitely a 10/10 stay.

I stay here every 8 weeks and it was great this time to actually be acknowledged for that. Usually staff/people don’t remember you and it doesn’t make you feel like you want to come back. Out of many hotels in the area, the location and convenience are fabulous. Breakfast is on the expensive side but the food and service are A+. Friendly staff and very attentive concierge desk. Thank you, I’ll be back.

In place of the brutalist minimalism of most Melbourne hotels (groan) you will instead find here the most beautiful architecture and interior design, every last imbued with the affectionate skill of a bygone age. Best location in Melbourne. Will certainly return.
